Played more than just the album. Cuts off 36, Ironman and Supreme Clientele and even random stuff like Rae's Eye for n Eye verse and an ODB track.

Prior to them coming out, DJ was playing all sorts of tracks....Simon Says, Xxplosive, Nas is Like etc.

For Protect Ya Neck they got two people on stage to perform Meth and ODB verses and I offered for Meth but didn't get it. Anyway some 16/17 year old girl got Meth and she nailed it! Got the loudest ovation of the night. Wu Tang Clan Aimt Nuthin....that song damn near caused a fight

Even this was the same year Jigga REALLY blew up. (Vol 2. went 5X Plat) It's Dark shook up hiphop like never before.

Even tho he never imitated Pac, he had SUCH a likeness like him.....it was crazy. Like I really feel he was indirectly a re-incarnation of Pac and picked up where he left off. He filled the void in for Pac. Being that IDGAF type nikka. Being that nikka that made songs that spoke to a nikka and have nikkaz literally cry, mane. NO other rapper can make a mf feel like that unless it's Pac.

The similarities are there. Despite the fact Pac was a weed head. DMX was hooked in coke/crack since somepoint in the 80s bc some nikka he came up with laced a blunt with dope in it.

Everybody was chanting Ruff Ryders Anthem like a mf when it dropped. Even in 99-2000 nikka was REALLY killing it. but that's another thread.

nah I thought they'd really scrutinise the performers but they were really nice lol

like the ODB person was a little nervous and the crowd reacted but Ghost was encouraging them to make some noise for support
