IDAHIH and MOT are arguably better.
People sleeping on Guru.
Pun was such a beast in 98 though. And while the album could have been better, it was still amazing.

Ruff Ryder's Anthem and Slippin' were two huge songs, each off a different album

It's hard to vote X when that second album was so mediocre.

What do we make of Guru's performance on Moment of Truth? Probably Gang Starr's best album in a decade of incredible releases competing against Step in the Arena, Daily Operation and Hard to Earn.

I think Guru sounded very near his best on MoT. He gotta be up there.

Guru bodied MOT. It's my favorite album of 98.

He was murdering everything...,poorer than Pun, yeah I said it.

However, if we talking overall quality of album, guest spots, and impact on the game, DMX got it. Jay is mad close.

Guru bodied MOT. It's my favorite album of 98.

Really excellent album, to me it's flawless apart from the hook on The Mall lol. Guru was incredible on that album, really brought it exceptionally.
