Never listened to IVPlay but i think Justin Had 2013 tho
r&b has fallen off tremendously
my favorites list would look different, but these are what i think are the BEST.
1987: Keith Sweat - Make It Last Forever
1988: Guy - Guy
1990: Bell Biv Devoe - Poison
1991: Boyz II Men - CoolieHighHarmony
1992: Mary J. Blige - Whats The 411?
1993: R.Kelly - 12 Play
1994: Mary J. Blige - My Life
1995: Monica - Miss Thang
1996: Dru Hill's 1st tape
2000: Jagged Edge - J.E. Heartbreak
2005: Mariah Carey - Emancipation Of Mimi
2009: Pleasure P -
few notes:
- this isnt as easy to do as a rap list
- some of these years are either too incomplete or foggy on my part for me to comment on.
- '94 was tough. mary/blackstreet/h-town. for YEARS i thought h-town's 2nd joint dropped in '95.
- jermaine dupri should be mentioned with the absolute goats
- why didnt lyfe jennings get a mention? cmon son.
- ive come to the realization that jodeci is overrated.
