nah i played those games - there was just never any point in me tracking devs like that back then. if shyt looks cool, play it.

and honestly the less i knew about the industry, the more i enjoyed games too

1000%.

Sometimes that shyt helped though. Would have never picked up the warriors if I ain't see that rockstar logo on it.

But it does make enjoying shyt so much simpler. A lot of us spend more time discussing games than playing em.

Outer Heaven
Indigo Prophecy.
Bought it without knowing hardly anything about it. I think I saw it at Walmart and thought the cover was interesting enough and that was it. That was the first game in that genre I had ever played and it blew my mind at the time. The freedom of choice, multiple endings, and interesting plot really impressed me.

Borderlands and Left 4 Dead. Earliest game I can remember is Mike Tys.on's Punch Out and Pro Wrestling. The Legend of Zelda is one also

:banderas:Even after the numerous of times of being disappointed. At superhero games that’s not made by Capcom. I blindly spent my birthday money on this game. And wasn’t ready for how goated this game was.

Tenchu: Stealth Assassins and Threads Of Fate were my best gambles as a kid. :wow:
This game was always hella confusing to me, and I sucked at the stealth. This shyt was cool ASF and I wanted to get more into it, but I got bodied so many times I stopped fw genre all together. Even Sly Cooper didn't get no love at that time

Got civilization revolution when I bought the 360 just cause the commercial looked interesting. Ending up beating that game several times over with every country on damn near every map and was decent in online matchups.

Now I'm hooked on these games. Civilization 6 and even the new one Humankind takes up a huge chunk of my gaming time
