People be buying these big ass TVs to look at 480p videos in portrait modeYes. 4K Blu ray are superior when it comes to viewing content. If you have a $2000+ TV and want to make the most out of it, you go blu ray.

I get what you saying, but it's still bulk to meI keep discs in a binder for most of them. Other things can be organized. There are ways to do it.
I have HUNDREDS of burned MP3 CDs from high school that I literally haven’t touched or cared about since high school. This streaming shyt ain’t going nowhere and if I can’t listen to 1 Jay-z album or whatever because a company acts funny, who cares? At that point find a download for that 1 albumThe joke is actually on the people. People can lose music, movies, etc if streaming companies act funny or go out of business.
No. I’m saying people buy TVs meant to watch 4k and all that but don’t know how to actually use them. I’ve seen this with my eyes. What are you talking about? 4K Blu Ray isn't 480p.

The End of an era I’m going to miss all the times browsing these kind of stores like we did in the 90s.(Blockbusters, music stores etc) Best Buy won’t be around much longer. Going to end up like Circuit CityBest Buy to End DVD, Blu-ray Disc Sales
Best Buy plans to phase out sales of DVDs and Blu-ray discs both in-store and online by early 2024, the company said.variety.com
True. Disney drop a boatload of shows/movies this year off their platform. If they don’t cycle through them, they will be lost forever unless you have the physical copy.People don't understand how much media we stand to lose. Shows/movies been pulled off of streaming services, servers crashing, hell even having files on your computer or on back-up is not safe. You could easily have a dystopian scenario in which say in 2100 all media from say 2050 to 2100 is lost, because it had no physical existence whatsoever and some freak eletronic/computer incident happened.
Mines was life is good 2012I think Graduation in '07 might've been the last physical album I bought
Truth be told I don’t need to buy much more. I’ve just held on to what I’ve already had over the years. It’s a nice collection built mostly from shopping at store like bookoff/goodwill and eBayI mostly download movies now but I will buy my fav on Blu-ray and continue to grow my small collection. If you have a good tv and sound system it's worth having physical. Also, Xbox/PS5 are OK Blu-ray players but with some dedicated players you see a big difference in details.
I still buy 'physical' media...
