And i want to be clear about this: PURE BACKUP QUARTERBACKS.
A guy who chills on the bench, is NOT gonna challenge the starter, and is READY when the qb gets hurt to goin, play some reps, and or finish the game. You dont want him to start the game...but he will not fukk up, and he will finish a controlled game well. If you work at a job with a manager...and an assistant manager...and someone applies for the job as assistant manager...its because they want to be the assistant manager...not the manager...get it?

5. Doug Flutie - he might have started in canada (lol) but his best run IMO was in the nfl as a backup including the DROP KICK score.
4. Todd Collins - first of all he's a wolverine. Secondly, he added like 10 years to his career by embracing the vice president role. He'll get you to the playoffs in a pinch.
3. Dan strock - dude backed up dan marino and bernie kosar...over a 15 year period he never fukked up bad and didnt threaten dan's job (lol) but was ready when dan twisted a knee.
2. STEVE BONO - dude backed up like 6 hall of famers...and got paid decently as a backup. Backed up montana, young, and warner....THAT IS TRUSTWORTHY.
1. CHARLIE BATCH.
This nikka be ready as fukk...ben goes down like 18 times a year for a drive or two, and charlie goes in and throws no INTs and finishes the game with no fail, and ben heals up with no threat of losing his job. This is a perfect situation for everyone. He comes in hot, hands off the ball, throws safe passes, stays healthy, and closes out the win. Perfect.

I was living in Buffalo at the time and that game didn't sell out, maybe because of the cold or maybe because the Oilers put the smack down on us in a meaningful game the week before.
