I'm actually not, if you read carefully. :skip:

I said you may think I'm naive.

Being naive is thinking that potentially denying Harris the presidency helps the situation at all.
lol don't be obtuse and let's not be pedantic. you wouldn't have thought i'd call you naive if you didn't think what you're saying is, on some level, naive.

but cook, breh. like i said, election is literally next week. the chips will fall where they may. unless she holds a press conference to walk back everything she's said for the last year, she's not getting arab and muslim votes like biden did.

These motherfukkers basically describe the system as a Halo/Death Star style superweapon and their takeaway is "Well Halo/The Death Star just SHOULDNT exist and I wont be participating in a system that allows for these things to exist!"

But Halo/ The Death Star does exist. And its not going away, Any. Time. Soon.

So in the meantime, shouldnt we yknow, stop Halo/Death Star from falling into someones hands who would use it for way more nefarious purposes?

"I know Emperor Palpatine has literally destroyed planets with the Death Star, but how can we be sure Mon Mothma won't do the same?" :patrice:

The better question is, which side does Netanyahu want to win the election?

Id imagine hes not pressed either way,or the money and media coverage would reflect it.

Has either side threatened him with anything? Have they not said they will continue to support israel?

Any "tension" you might see is simply the political chivalry jawn in action. Making it look like they might actually get tough with Netanyahu so yall can think theres a "better option":mjlol:

Israel will continue to do what they want to,kill who they wanna kill, how they want to kill them. We strongly reccomend the Palestenian people leave the country. But thats up for their principles to decide. Personally I dont think letting your kids get colonized, bombed etc over principle is the right answer:respect:

Mmm, no. There's a difference worth clarifying.

I'm simply acknowledging that I understand why one in your position would think my position is naive. That's not being pedantic, that's me making my position more clear.

but cook, breh. like i said, election is literally next week. the chips will fall where they may.

If you care about the situations in Gaza half as much as you claim, you'd better hope Harris wins.

Saying Kamala's genocidal policy is 'better' than Trump's genocidal policy is like saying getting stabbed to death is better than being shot.

You're gonna die either way, but bleeding out slowly is better than dying on the spot, I guess
"the system is so bad it doesnt matter which side controls it!!"

*ignores the side thats literally siding with Nazis and Secessionists and trying to strip federal resources from everyone not White*

I keep trying to tell people this. Staying home or voting 3rd party over Gaza is just supporting genocide with extra steps.

Harris is the only hope we have for policy change towards Israel. There is zero chance Trump can be swayed on this issue. Not to mention the many things we stand to lose domestically if Trump regains the White House.

I'll just put it out there: if you know for sure either Harris or Trump can win--and no one else can--not voting for Harris is morally reprehensible.
Most ppls political involvement doesn't extend outside the voting booth...so no, you don't have to do more before you cast your vote

And if Kamala hasn't changed her stance now, she's not going in office

Of course, Kamala will be better than Trump on this but it's disappointing because that's not really saying much.

Both parties need to figure this out. Israel has the right to defend itself but so many innocent folks are getting caught up...it amazes me how folks can pick a side in the Israel/Gaza conflict...that shyt is complicated AF
Yeeeeeea definitely understand that.

I think, though —and this isn’t being self centered— we need to vote for who is best for AMERICANS. That is the focus.

In this case, I think the person who is best for America is also going to be better when dealing with Netanyahu. :yeshrug:

Yea but this election isn’t primarily about Israel. I get it, but I’m foremost concerned about how Kamala vs Trump’s policy will affect Americans.

There are other foreign policy issues on the table, domestic policy, etc.

I definitely support the Palestinian people, but RIGHT NOW, the chief concern is whether I want to see this nation burn under Trump or see the continuation of some normalcy under Harris.
