I just don’t understand how Bernie continues to say democrats don’t address working class issues when 58% of middle income Americans support Donald Trump. He clearly understands that these voters are willing to accept a plutocracy and fascism but never addresses the role race plays with this voting block. Talking about economics with this group doesn’t really matter. They’re willing to accept government debt, endless wars and tax cuts for the rich as long as their perceived social status and way of life is preserved. Until he can pivot to addressing these issues as well, it’s lip service to me

The other day Eva Longoria was asked why was there a shift with Latinos voting Republican.
She said because Democrats don’t talk about jobs & Republicans do.
She admitted though not to say Republicans do not have a bad track record with that but they are better at marketing it.

:what: She went from the WH straight to MSNBC?

I’m not sure if there are any (important) conflicts of interests, but it doesn’t sit right with me.

Edit: Trump’s WH press secretary was doing the same shyt but with Fox.

Has this shyt been going on forever?

She doesn't want to admit or is oblivious to the elephant in the room

Mexicans aspire to whiteness

Because he knows there is no pay off to calling white people racist in America. Hillary had a moment where she said real shyt about deplorables and had to apologize and fall back.

Unfortunately, yes. It doesn’t sit right with me either. It is what it is. Both dems and repubs do this. Rethugs might be worse. Look at Fox News and all their former gov officials.

White Working Class

The time the Dems made an attempt to address these issues under a Biden term, Biden Didn’t fight that hard and two corporate Dems cockblocked For corps.

The answer isn’t to go “fukk lower and middle income white people,” because that hurts us all since most of this thread and forum and Americans fall in that placing.

Bernie’s failing is that he isn’t interested in cultivating a movement and thinks this is a top-down issue when it’s really bottom-up. These “leftist” groups on the coasts need to go into those communities and educate people on how this system is failing them and how it can be improved to aide. Have cookouts, softball games, basketball tournaments, etc to educate people. The Right does this.

US Politicians are not gonna save anyone. It’s up to us.

Yes

Most of your favorite political commentators worked on campaigns and/or were staffers.

Democrats don't have news stations blaring their issues like the right does with FNC, newsmax, even CNN has shifted to the right.

The right has an entire media arm that handles that for them. You guys have to realize you're not going to reach most working class white men especially in the south. FNC is on in every break room or newsmax. Plenty of people vote just for the person with an R next to their name. That is until you give them a reason too. There's a reason why these culture wars are so effective. It distracts the population from what's being done to them.
