I don't see why this is a problem or even remotely controversial.
The government does waste billions and it should be audited. No one can deny Musk is right about that.
I don't trust Musk though and his ulterior motives are the issue.
These dudes are playing in our faces saying we can't afford universal healthcare, education or social programs while they waste our $ with little oversight.

As a person who served in the Military, I'll say you can see the waste 1st hand on a day to day basis. I say this as a person who served from 96-04. Being in a 3rd echelon unit that repaired/replaced high dollar items. We were always encouraged to hide shyt, or order "extra" and it just appears. Whatever you needed put it on a form by 0800, with other "needed items" and it's there by noon. If you've never seen a Military warehouse on a logistics base., think of Costco on steroids, with tanks and humvees as far as the eye can see, along with just about anything else. I've never encountered any such thing in the civilian world. It's always just a ddform 012726...or whatever as long as it's filled out correctly, you will get your order.

This is false. You're not buying the same parts at Lowe's as they don't meet the requirements necessary to be used in every machine/vehicle in the military.

Bernie was never shy about calling out #bothsides. Voters who actually pay attention too need to call out #bothsides.
In this case, they made a promise. Bernie should sound the horn every fukking chance he gets if they don't follow through on cutting our bloated ass military budget.

It isnt about elon musk being right, for decades people on the left and right have called for cutting waste , fraud and abuse in the pentagon and other governmental agencies, under obama military spending went down in comparison to trump, it is the republicans that are always for increasing and propping up the defense budget so its ironic that elon would propose this when the candidate he used his entire platform to spread propaganda for increase military budgets in his first tenure
