This is really good. I been rocking with Benny since 2017, but this might be his best project yet. I don’t want to be a prisoner of the moment and say it’s better than TT3 but it’s about neck-and-neck.

Benny over Alc and Daringer never miss.

It had the right features too…Griselda, Spesh, Stove God and Boldy James. About the only people I wanted to hear on this anyway.

Stove God killed it as usual. It seems the booth is finally starting to give him his flowers. Maybe he was an acquired taste to y’all. I thought he was ridiculously dope from the first listen.

AOTY for me, so far. Easily.

It's not easy for me to stick with newer projects consistently, these days. I usually pop in and out, every now and then. But this project has stayed in heavy rotation since it dropped. This is Benny at his best. And I can see how ALC basically A&R'd this joint. It flows perfectly. This is the lane that Benny is untouchable in. With production like this, he can't lose. And lyrically, he's just getting crazier with the bars. It's also dope to see the city getting behind this one. Been hearing this playing everywhere for the past week or so. I love that!

HEAVY rotation. The fact that I can rock this album all the way through as many times as I have is extraordinaire in 2022 :ohlawd:

One thing I got from this album. Is that Alc held out on Spitta. Real talk. Lol. Some of these joints sound more Covert Coup than anything on Spitta’s new album with Alc.
Tana Talk 4 was always going to get the best of Alchemist heat. I always said that. But, yes, Covert Coup >> Continuance in terms of production.

After letting this marinate, I've decided I don't like this very much. The Continuance album taught me to chill with the first impressions as they can change over time but....nope. This is still a pretty average piece of work front to back. Johnny Ps Caddy and Back 2x is the only thing I really listen to.

Basically my view as well, plus a couple more tracks. Just…boring and predictable to me for the most part.

This is top tier goon rap :wow:
What new shyt in the goon lane are you listening to that this shyt is average by comparison?

I figured him going full circle with Spitta would be just as important. Covert Coup was a big deal for both Alc and Spitta. It’s Alc’s first classic of the 2010s imo. And a prelude to the shyt he’s doing now.

Not saying it’s not as important but I’m sure Benny had been in the lab with Alchemist for a while before TT4 released & since they did some classic shyt together on TT3 & hadn’t worked on anything album related since The Plugs I Met & Alchemist already knows which kind of heat he’s going to provide Benny va anybody else. Benny is just rapping over different style production than a lot of Alchemist other projects. He wants that old school ALC dramatic grimy shyt :myman:
