Alfredo was a great album but to me them other joints are very skippable. Lulu had some hard beats on there but I already told y’all I know Alchemist was saving his very best work for Tana Talk 4. He works with a lot of different MC’s but he’s only giving his A+ on certain projects.

funny you mention that, because Alfredo is easily, easillyyy my least favorite batch of beats out of those 5 projects.

all >>> Alfredo in terms of the beats to me. Alfredo is a lot of what Al critics love to critique about him. There are some half-cooked instrumentals on there, and there are more drumless loops on there than on any of those other projects.

Bo Jackson and Super Tecmo might be his most interesting batches of production ever outside of Covert Coup. Lulu is all hard as nails minus one track, and even that one sounds like a cinematic video game. Price of Tea is one of the darkest and grittiest cohesive projects in a long time.

Al lets Boldy James get his best work these days, because they're best friends and Boldy's his favorite rapper. But there's definitely big heat on Tana Talk 4.
