Yeah like i said nobody saw it coming. For the longest time it was supposed to be a Tom Cruise flick (before people knew how batshyt insane he was), after he dropped out fans were throwing out all kinds of random actors for the role then BAM out of nowhere they cast RDJ. People forget RDJ wasn't even the first person cast for that movie, Terrence Howard was.

When has Zack Snyder ever shown himself to be capable of bringing the best ouf ot Average actors? In Man of Steel he wasn't even able to get the best out of Michael Shannon.


Ben Affleck is a GREAT director, Ben Affleck is a GREAT writer. As an Actor Ben Affleck isn't all that great. He's good most of the time, has occasionally been VERY good, and has been downright horrible quite a few times. I Don't think it's a coincidence that his best performances are typically in films he's written and directed.,

Obviously some people are going overboard with the hate, but people are also going overboard in defending a obviously questionable casting decision.

Ben Affleck was hired to ACT in these films, not direct or write the screenplays. There were a ton of FAR superior actors they could have chosen for the role.

He knows daredevil was a flop. a decade later hes a better actor and will probably see this as a huge challenge to take on. this is a huge deal to an actor like affleck. He will put the work in and be good

With Robert Downey Jr, not enough people cared about Iron Man to begin with. Most people were still wondering if he was out of rehab, but you also had people that thought that he could excel in role the role, if he was serious and they also incorporated Tony Stark's addiction. But overall, Downey has always been a great actor. Affleck is a mediocre actor

I guess Batman is going to be taller then Superman on film. Even in MOS Superman was getting towerd by regular soldiers and that Five Heartbeat dude.
