Belichick should not have full player personnel power. He is not a good GM, especially when it comes to offensive players. Over 20 years, the main hits he's had are Moss (gift wrapped), Welker, Edelman, Gronk and Aaron Hernandez. With Welker and Edelman, how much of that was Brady? Neither did anything before or after Brady and the fall-offs were QUICK.

Even in the early years.... Brady still had to come through for them so many times. Look at the 2003 super bowl, 2001 clutch drive.

Beli is a defensive coach though. You would expect the offense to fall off with Brady gone and a rookie QB, but the defense looks straight ass. That's all on coaching because they have decent talent...

They aren't great, but with a "legendary" defensive coach, solid talent, and a team he's seen twice already this season....you would expect better

Biggest think I took away from this game is that was exhibit A why the 9ers took a Trey Lance over a Mac Jones, and that's not a knock on Mac it's just reality. That athleticism, mobility and big arm gives a QB a ceiling that's just ridiculous, we've seen Allen grow into it over the years and tonight was special.

I don't think taking that swing 15th overall was wrong by any means, but Belli made life hard tying himself at the hip with a QB who's a statue and doesn't have an arm built for cold weather in this day and age - especially when Bill struggles so mightily with finding skill position talent.

Finna be jokes when Beli passes on Jameson Williams he got one of the worst eyes for offensive skill position players. This the same dumbass who warned Dimitroff not to draft Julio Jones and said Jonathan Baldwin was just as good a talent if not better

In reality we should have known that they would only go so far with a rookie QB regardless. Bill did a great job getting them to the playoffs but the are not the elite team that the media tried to make them out to be either during their winning streak. They need to get Jones some real weapons that can make plays after the catch and not these 2nd and 3rd tier players they have been relying on for entirely to long at this point.

Beli defenses are usually legit tho. His Achilles heel like most coaches are mobile QBs. He saw what Cam did to him which is why he signed him for cheap from Big Lots. Unfortunately, Cam's passing skills were too ass to make up for his loss in athleticism. Josh is mobile but can pass much better than Cam.

His wide receiver grading, drafting, and development is very suspect and has been forever
Tom REALLY made sugar outta shyt with the receiving core for years (excluding the slot guys)

I agree with that, Bill needs help with offensive drafts but I'm surprised at how the defense has fallen off from just a few weeks ago
