Nothing better than raising kids and planning the future. I see what happens to old people with no kids. The end of their life is much much sadder.

Make sure you pay for a nice insurance plan so the nurses at the hospital can take care of you when you start falling apart because it won't be your non existent family

Obviously the % is on your side but that shyt is not always guaranteed. Last couple weeks I have seen some crazy situations that have caught people off guard.

-Been driving an much older family friend who has a son around as she looks for a place to stay the rest of her days since she lost her home. Found out from stories even tho she nursed her son back to health while he was in hospital for weeks once he was up and running, told his mom he wants nothing to do with her. This is a dude who had everything he wanted and was raised well (in sports, traveled, trained in music instruments, college paid for, etc), only child so no other siblings might have to pop out 3+ to increase chances of someone taking you on as burden..

-Another recent story was from a friend whose family was in shock that their daughter who had to take the long road to becoming a doctor and got support from the family as they invested in her and her struggle, from not getting admitted, going to the islands to get trained, coming back rejected again, finally breaking thru, more struggle, finally get on and now a doctor. Along the way huge family support. Mom is now sick, she fixed her mouth and told mom she wont be taking care of her and isnt planning to contribute anything.. Mom was SHOCKED but didnt say anything, dad fixed her up something viscous and she came back apologized but my friend was blindsided by the audacity..

Sometimes its a cold world, you think its one way and it end up another.. Dont make plans for people in this day an age, these kids that were raised a certain way and how selfish individualistic this world has turned, you can do EVERYTHING right, pour into your kids and still end up in that nursing home next to non existent family breh.

Breh, I dont sell insurance or have much knowledge besides the research I did for myself, what I can say is typically for younger single it is recommended to get term insurance and add a rider because it is better on the budget.. Speak to a couple insurance guys to get a better picture, and/or do some research online prior also to have better informed questions.

And always read the fine print..

I've found peace in solitude and in my bank account as well. I've often said that I fantasized about having a family with all afros, going to Afrika every year and naming the children after our heroes and forefathers but that's all it is: a fantasy. Real life is a lot more difficult. We're dealing with ideas or ideologies but with other human beings and all their flaws. @ 36, if I want children, I will HAVE to get a younger woman. I would have to move out and get a house of my own, find a good company just for the stability, find a good school for the kids while knowing I'd have to fight an uphill battle to keep the constant assault of their Afrikan mind on a daily basis. ALL this and more if I want to the family life. I'm too old for accidents and unplanned kids. Why would I knowing make my life and life of others harder?

As a bachelor, all I have to worry about is me. It's cold in FL now so I'm not working but I have enough to hold me over until the spring. I can't do that with a family. Y'all often say here that some men are meant to be fathers and husbands but when those same men admit that fact, y'all criticize them.
