Being single with no kids is pretty much living life in a cheat code.

Having lived a full life and fathered children successfully before you died makes you successful at the thing we called life....otherwise....you just spent your wheels....:russ:

That's your definition...luckily I don't live my life predicated on someone else's definition of success
full

There is no logic. Just a individual opinion based on his feeling and devoid of the fact that his judgement of failure doesn’t impact those he assigns it to at all

Exactly...Who the fukk cares what he feels is a successful life :pachaha:like there is only one metric to success and feeling fulfilled lol

Notice how this and the other similar thread came down you how they felt ass opposed to anything tangible. Cats so narrow minded they can only view things from their lens and then are foolish enough to think that view is really impacting anyone else.

Irony here is that mankind are the only spiritual beings(animals not the same as humans) allowed to procreate, and the messengers from Heaven are forbidden to do so, and were punished for it when they did. Written in the good book and some other non cannon ancient texts.

Kind makes for another topic/thread to see if there's another agenda..

I’m definitely feeling the single
Life, late 20s here

what’s wild though is my friends are all getting engaged and married now, they’re all disappearing into their new lives. So it’s definitely more lonely now and I’m thinking more on that relationship wave but I’m not willing to settle, gotta find the right queen to build with

For me, the sweet spot has been, now that I'm in my mid 30s....

I'm with a girl a trust, who's mature, and who shot with me in the gym.
I have the most money (BY FAR), that I've ever had.
We have no kids.
And I'm doing whatever I want.

Kids would fukk all that up.

i understand both sides of this. it boils down to knowing yourself.

i have people in my family who say they love being in a house where they're hearing kids playing. kids make homes lively. A person who thinks this way, or feels rather, is a social person. That sort of person could never live a solitary live.

there are some who find peace in solitude. And for those people, while they may not want the screaming kids, they understand its a necessity. And they plan it out.

And there are some people who really aren't the planning type. They live life on a day by day basis, without giving much thought to it.

As for the general benefit to having a family to advance the black race - well, here's the reality. There's a whole continent filled with black people who live the traditional way. Its called Africa. By and large, most africans consider being married and having kids success. But, we all know the position africa is in today. you can blame europeans all you want, but, the root of the problem is really culture. When you believe so passionately in tradition, there's only so much potential you're going to be able to expose yourself to.

in short, i say, live your life. u do need kids to at least have some sort of guarantee that someone will be there for you when you cant fight for yourself. But in order to ensure you're well taken care of in ur old age, u have to prepare the financial basis now for that to happen.

Most african parents have kids for the sole purpose of using them as ATM later in life. Be better than this. Secure yourself financially now so later in life, when you need to be taken care of in your old age, you dont end up being a burden on those you call your "loved ones". Show compassion now. Stop having numerous kids if you know it'll be a struggle to adequately provide for all of them.

Live like a peasant in your 20s and 30s because you don’t have the time or money to do anything because you had some anchor babies holding back your career advancement and educations only to hope those same kids don’t just shovel you off into a nursing home when you’re 75 that they will never visit. What a plan

The "having kids means you'll be poor" mindset is a myth. Sometimes I think it's one of those things that gets pushed by people who are ideologically against having kids (for instance ppl who think the world is overcrowded etc).

Married couples w/ kids generally have higher income relatively speaking. Having kids motivates you in a different way. For all you fukking idiots I'm not saying that having a kid will magically transform a lazy person to hardworking etc. My point is that many ppl have a change in outlook that can drive their decision making process in a positive way. When you think about being successful etc, there is a difference between being driven by a desire to fulfill personal goals vs thinking about building a foundation/legacy for future generations.

But again if that doesn't appeal to you in any way, live your life the way you want to. As long as you do so honorably, there is no wrong or wrong path.
