Before copping MGS V, go ahead and play MGS4

All Kojima had to do was make a good game that was packaged well...instead of forcing a $60 movie on us.

I'm over it by now, it was the most disapointing game I ever dealt with. I bought a PS3, ready...play...oh wait...

I think outside of the boss fights you controlled the game for 2 hours.

Maybe that's why MGS V is only 2 hours

Hopefully there isn't a 45 minute cutscene in there

1 hour is following someone whistling in that camp site

He probably even put in a extra mission where you hold up and press right to move a crippled snake.

Choking out guards without being seen

Interrogating guards at knifepoint

Slamming guards to the ground

Chilling in a box while they don't notice you

Using girlie mags to distract enemies

Holding up guards at gunpoint

Stamina killing the bosses (and holding up The End for his camo)

Blowing up their food/weapon warehouses and watching them walking around hungry and with no ammo wondering what happened

Ocelot and his random meowing

Having a whole empty river to yourself when you get to the Sorrow because you never killed the guards

Im playing MGS 4 right now off the strength of this thread and damn this is still piff after all these years. Yeah its less stealth but i just love the atmosphere. And the octocam is gangsta how you blend in with the environment. Anyway when does MGS 5 take place?

MGS1 you controlled snake all throughout shadow moses island. There was so much interaction. You even had to disconnect your controller and shyt.

Never understood the hate for MGS4...That was a damn good game, especially if you're a fan of the franchise...Extensive dialogue and long cutscenes have always been apart of the MGS franchise since the PSX days...If you have a problem with that then you should never buy a MGS game...

in the 1980's.. it takes place not too long after what happened in peacewalker (which I've never played).
