Trips is a career heel and understands his role. Especially now that he's not active anymore. He still gets flack when he pops up because people still remember the "reign of terror," but he isn't that guy anymore. The company is full of talent he personally fostered down in Full Sail; he'll do the work to get those guys and girls over.*Truth. And outside of Ronda I think the last time Steph let anyone go over herself was when Vicki left the company and even then that was comedic more than anything. shyt I remember her putting Charlotte in her place backstage back when she was supposed to be the top female heel on the roster, and you don't make your top heel look weak to feed your own ego, that's just bad bookingThat's why I'll always give props to Triple H in that department cause like Brock, he'll sell to put the other guy over.
Stephanie on the other hand? Pure, unfiltered ego. Especially with newer talent.
There's a couple ways this segment on Monday could go:
1. Steph could remember she has beef with Ronda and come out to cosign Becky, only for Becky to turn on her saying The Man never had her support before and she doesn't need it now. Or something to that effect.
2. Stephanie comes out and buries Becky and Becks never gets a rebuttal. History shows this is the most likely answer.
3. Stephanie has minimal contact with Becky and attention quickly shifts to a confrontation with Ronda.
4. Ronda turns heel by aligning with Stephanie against Becky.
In terms of likelihood, I'd say it's 2 > 1 > 3 > 4.
*Note I'm referring young guys and girls who came up though the PC. Trips nowadays feeds his ego by beating up his fellow geriatrics. lol
