SOHH ICEY...WE EATIN
Idk dude claims to have worked to roc a fella and is from Harlem. Not sure where you got that info about Jaz but I got whole different sides to that. People said Jaz had no ego. They would one-take Jaz and not let him do-over verses and would either let Jay listen last or even do-over if he was already on track. Also Jaz produced his first hit so he was cool being producer. Jaz said they offered him $100k to sign with no purchase order or real control over the budget. Mind you Jaz first deal with EMI was for $300k and the Rocafella offer was YEARS LATER and AFTER dudes like Royal Flush had already signed deals for more WITH open budgets. Deal was straight cheeks. Not to mention they didn’t fall out until Jay pulled a no call no show to Jaz video shoot which there was more bullshyt before that but that was final straw then he had the Roc gang up on Jaz smfh. No one was ever allowed to outshine Jay especially Jaz, so that piece from T.K. is not only plausible but understandable if you know the entertainment business.
Again maybe you a Jay Stan but there are other sides to stories that are not as well known because the sides from the more popular sources/individuals travels faster and louder. Just like the narrative that Jay signed Jaz to a distribution deal with Rocnation which some of you remember I easily disproved that any such thing ever took place.
People gotta stop with the “nobody can be bigger then Jay”
When we talking bout dudes who had no damn shot at being bigger at all.
In real time beans, jaz or sauce every had a shot at being bigger then Jay.
Jay went and saved jaz from a cult and restarted his career. Foolish to think he was hating on him.
