Jaz played himself. He couldn't stand that his mentee became way more successful and famous than he did. Jay tried to work with him and offered him a deal, but Jaz's ego was out of control back then. Dude just couldn't put that aside.

I'm not mad at Sauce though. He just wanted to be his own man, and not be in a situation where he didn't get along with everybody. Him and Dame supposedly didn't get along, so I think that's what killed his thing with Roc, from like day one. He also had interest from mad other labels, so I can understand why he would just do his own thing. I just wished he dropped more music. Sauce is nice!

Sauce probably would have smacked Dame if he even attempted to show any aggression…

Do u have the first Sauce Money CD?? I need a DL.

That joint came out a couple years too late. It would have sounded better in 1997/1998.

As for Jaz, it was an another Ace/Calvin situation where Calvin was low key pissed that the little homie became his boss. I would have been happy that Jay gave me a deal and made the best of it.

Imagine Jaz rapping with Beans over some post View From Masada Just Blaze beats. It would have been str8
