Be honest, Vince/WWE have stayed away from Hogan WAY longer than you thought they would

Am I the only one who thinks part of the reason he was banished was that Vince could have the last laugh more than the racist tapes?:pachaha:

it’s crazy where Hogan is vs Ric Flair pop culture wise now. Same generation yet Ric is loved by Millenials who probably couldn’t name 5 of his opponents.

Definitely surprised they’ve been as subtle in using him as they have. Kinda thought they were letting it leave the news cycle then they’d ease him right back

Gonna be fukking hilarious if and when they dig up his racist comments and harassment cases and they gon be like:picard:

Like I was really sitting there like :gucci: during both the Hogan racist leak and Flair's 30 for 30 when cats on twitter "Man Ric would never do that":mjlol:

Like I fukks with Naitch and am indifferent to these celebs personal lives (do think people on the receiving end deserve justice obviously) but I cant at people who are so obvlious to problematic celebs but wanna act shocked when the obvious comes up:pachaha:

The E won't do away with Austin. Sure we might see less emphasis on the Attitude era moving forward with more PG stuff, but The Rock and Stone Cold are cornerstones of that era. Unless Stone Cold does something to make WWE scrub him, he's not going anywhere. It's only natural as time goes on certain people will be forgotten or fade away but I don't think we'll see him just not exist. If anything they'll rewrite history to make his character fit a more PG narrative.

I mean....all it takes is the wild Debra Me too interivew...:patrice:

Part of me feels that Vinny resents Hogan. Hogan used to get credited for "building" the E and in reality he didn't, Vince did. Ric was a product of down south so Vince really doesn't have a reason to hate him.

Breh that IS the reason. All this shyt is more about control. Same shyt with Warrior. Now that he's dead and the (problematic) man aint there he can flaunt the character for merch and all as he always did without Hellwig being protective and holding legal rights to the character.

Like I dont think the mainstream cares that much if Hogan comes back to be outraged given there's been enough stories about other guys in the company including who got harassment and racist things pinned on them and they still there. I think WWE freaked out that the Hogan tape leaked and got press (which is assisted by them firing him) but there's more to be said about a lot of outlets kind of protect WWE or just look at them as a carny company that doesnt deserves scrutiny. They'll critize them for a day and thats it (like the Vince's XFL policies were only a conversation for like a day)

You keep saying "they" like for attitude to be buried it needs to be out of malice or something. I am talking about the consequence of 5 or more years of what we have. And we already got a more palatable austin during his paranoid android phase with the whole "whaaaaaat"

If there was a money match on the table, please believe he'd have been brought back a long time ago.
