word,i'm from a jects not too far from you,so i was used to the clappin&surrounding hood shyt, but that was a particularly mainey/funny day,i used to play ball at Oceanview(games there weren't no joke:whew: ),know OG Thatcher, used to have patnas who stayed in LV

and word, truthfully if you wasn't from the View or not affiliated you didn't wanna get caught in the View period, regardless of race

:salute: to you for surviving the wasteland,i'm :blessed: that i did/continue to do so as well,Rest In Paradise for those that didn't

Iunno why Cougnut said that sh!t because Lakeview was always a reasonably mixed hood.:ehh:

I grew up on Ramsell and Randolph and there were a handful of white families, Asian families and Mexican families on my block even back then. The Bay is less segregated than other places. I live on the East Coast now and when niccas say ain't no crackas in the hood out here, they mean it.

Mo Lakeview classics tho:

Even though Messy Marv was a fake-Blood turf hopper from Concord :pacspit::snoop:, he did have some slaps back when he first hit the scene

Blood was gassin' on the second verse :ohhh:

:wow:

Quinn destroyed Mess on this one though. :krs:

:salute:

cats at Oceanview used to put their pistol down on the baseline whilst ballin, needless to say you better not call foul unless you was bout it,bout it,hahaha, back then 75% of the Park&Rec parks were grimy though

i saw Cellski at one of those midnight basketball events, still see dude from time to time

M train and 54:mindblown:

I been seeing Cellski, Coug, UNLV etc. since as far back as I can remember. Some of my oldest memories are of seeing Cougnut, Cellski, Baldhead Rick and all dem niccas from Randolph posted on the Dolph when they were hella younger. I'm 30 and I remember in 89-91' when the New Victoria Market licka sto' on the Dolph was still open. I was so young I thought the liquor store was the licorice store. :pachaha:

Niccas used to be posted there hella deep day and night. The Dolph was like a 24 hour drive thru for crack, dope, dank and whatever else you needed. All of them were d-boys for real and you can hear it in the music. Back in the era of turfed out Starter jackets. :ahh: They had like every single Starter coat back then. Except for no San Diego Padres gear because that sh!t stood for Sunnydale and Lakeview has always seriously funked with them niccas :pacspit:. Niccas in Lakeview used to wear so much UNLV gear that my moms thought UNLV was the local basketball team. :heh: Being d-boy fresh they had all the classic J's and Nikes from that era too :gladbron:

I remember the sh!t like yesterday :blessed:

I hate to admit it being from Lakeview, but Sunnydale had a few slaps too. :yeshrug:

Like this one:

And this one:

How could a place as dirty and funky as SD produce something this smooth? :dahell:

:ooh:

I would never slap any of these songs driving down the Dolph or any other street in the View back in the 90's tho. :whoa:
