After watchin it again I still think it was a bad stoppage. It was way too early in the fight and the ref shoulda at least let Danny jump back on him. We've seen plenty of boxers recover from shots where we thought the fight was over
My point, exactly!

bradley was never that hurt against either of those guys
and he was smart enough to take a knee
WTF? Which fights were you watching?

They gotta run that back :francis:

You gotta at least give a guy a chance...give him a standing 8 or something...you don't end it like that.

And i understand he was out on his feet...but nikkas get hurt and recover in boxing everyday b. Ain't like he was taking punishment over prolonged period and was in that condition. Ate a few shots early got hurt and made and gave the appearance that he was ready to continue on.

There are alot of classics in boxing that wouldn't be classics if every ref jumped the gun like this one did.
Prime example... Castillo-Corrales

Another Gold Medal
in contrast to a division where the champs dont even defend their belts
a division where the most noteworthy thing that happened this year in there is one of the charlos taking the belt off K9
a division full of one and done champs
to use your struggle logic from before..a division thats so bad that a former super feather moved up to dominate it

oh yes this is a truly an exciting, riveting, and competitive division to watch :laff:

at least have the decency to fix that struggle smiley :scusthov:

Yet the biggest fight that has happened at middleweight in years was between two jr middles :dead:

Such an exciting division :russell:

So talent rich :russell:

I'm sure you and the rest of the 96,999 fans can't get enough of the excitement at middle :russell:

Iont think standing 8's are legal in NYC or title fights

That said I ain't like the stoppage but it's all on Pete for not taking a knee

But mega props to Danny
Knew coming in a KO would happen cause both of them are legit power punchers but I ain't expect him to do Pete like that
Pete gotta better chin, heavy powerful hands and a much better resume than Danny
Pete put down and beat Lee, Winky, a healthy Ndam and made Murray deport himself from the UK so to avoid a fight with him

And none of that shyt mattered cause Danny mollywhopped him in less than 2 minutes
In like 8 seconds Danny threw at least 30 continuous punches that were all on target :dwillhuh:

Pete is known for eating his opps best punches but when Danny hit em with that right to the temple his face went :scust:

Danny's comeback has been a great story for the sport and he's a deserved king of the city

And props to Pete who was as humble in defeat as he is in victory. Hope he's okay and look forward to his return

No prob I'll end the convo quicker.

You didn't give a fukk about middleweight until your overnight stanning of 97g.

You do however stan a fighter 154 in that child rapist Molina.

You shyt on Lee.

You shyt on Jacobs.

You shyt on Kid Choc who 97g trainer said would be his best win.

Division is trash by your own words.

Back to your football grandpa we done here :russell:

there's no question bradley got hurt in that fight...quillin at worse got knocked silly by danny...bradley nearly had his career ended from the punishment he took..slurring for 2 months is that deep neurological pain..far worse than what quillin got unless quillin was already messed up

Brolic... Alcoholics
Should the ref have let it go on? Possibly, sure. But I'm not mad that he stopped it, Quillin would have gotten seriously hurt :manny:

This...

Whe the ref pulled them apart, Quillin was looking like he had had a few drinks. Shoulders all slouched over and arms just kinda hanging at his side. I think the worst would have happened if Jacobs would have gotten back on him.

And something yall gotta remember is that the NYSAC is under heavy scrutiny still for allowing Mike Perez and Magomed Abdusalamov to continue to go at it. So you can't be too mad at the ref for stopping it the way that he did.
