I thought it was just me, I switch between this MW2 and I feel :flabbynsick: with my aim.
no it's the game, there is no assist (developers claim there is but there isn't) which puts you at an EXTREME disadvantage, not to mention it makes your aiming feel janky when trying to lead shots.

Real question. Have y’all ever heard anyone who played battlefield say the new iterations of this franchise are better than 3 and 4? I haven’t. Maybe I’m :flabbynsick:

It seems like dice is hell bent on doing everything but give the fans what they want :snoop: It can’t be that hard to recreate what made those games good.

There's people in this thread that wanna pretend like BF1 and BFV was better than BF3 and BF4 lol

BF3 and BF4 was definitely the peak of the franchise. BC2 was when the run started.

It must’ve been their first BF. Let me guess, hardline was a close third 😂

I put around 400 hours into BF4. I have been playing BF since BF2 as well.

BFV is the most evolved version of any Battlefield game to date. The destruction, map design, movement system, gunplay, building elements, tactical gameplay such as squad leader perks, etc...

The term "better" isn't a good term. BF3 and BF4 were good for their time.

The sound design is super crisp too. BFV is easily up there with the greats. I was so gutted when barely anything transferred over 2042.

I hold it over the BC series as I was never a fan of rush mode taking over Conquest as the main game type. To me, Battlefield is Conquest.

People can’t sleep on 2142 either.

I put bf1 in the same category as bf3/4. Same engine and gunplay and similar amount of content(maps/expansions).

Nah its in the tier below BC2/BF3/BF4 if we ranking BF games. Still a good game but its an obvious downgrade in terms of overall content.

The only way those newer BF games beat BF3 and BF4 are in terms of movement and graphics.

Otherwise I really dont get how you can put these games over the older ones.

2142 was classic but that was from a completely different era of BF before any COD influence. That old DICE team knew what they were doing.

I agree with everything.

I think Conquest needs to evolve as a mode though. Make each capture point worth something.

Example: point B has material that creates a nuke in point A. You capture both points and hold them for 'x amount of time' it will give you the option to destroy the enemy team's home-base, and if your team then captures the other points on the map there are no more spawn points that the enemy team can spawn on. They can only spawn on their squad members. If all the enemy team squads are wiped out, the game is over.

They had this shyt in older BF games lol.

I do think there needs to be more meta gameplay to make things interesting, more shyt like Titan Mode / Carrier Assault, especially since they moved away from that and made the series more casual with simple modes. The squad contracts that got data mined should be a good move if they go in that direction.

I don’t get off to the technical stuff. The only metric I grade the game on is fun factor. The newer iterations of this franchise weren’t as fun as 3 and 4 but they did evolve the game :manny:

I think they were trying to do that with Operations in BF1 and that other mode in 2052 (Breakthrough)

I tweaked my settings and it’s decent but the aim assist is terrible for console ADS is just shyt! Game is better than where it was but still feels unfinished. I’m going to play some more this weekend but I think I’m going to uninstall. Idk what the devs were thinking with this.

They weren't thinking. That's the problem

nikkas had the blue print from BF3 and BF5.

BF4 map design was terrible in my opinion.

Yep they completely went the opposite route.
