I'm really not into "social media shaming" as I don't believe a hashtag or a status will do much to solve any problem, but it's been pretty eye opening looking at my Facebook timeline over the past few hours. All my black and Latino friends have posted something on Alton Sterling. But besides maybe 2, I haven't seen ANY posts or acknowledgment from white people. And some of them were the same ones who posted nonstop about the Orlando shooting or changed their profile pictures after the Paris attacks. When it comes to shyt like this, a lot of white folks only speak up when people start protesting and rioting, more outraged that the protesters are making them late to their restaurant reservation than the death of a black man.

What's white supremacist about anything I said it's reality...I live in Philadelphia and I don't remember any incidents of a black man being murdered by police in the last 2 years but there has been over 200 murders of black men in the past two years of Philadelphia by other black men so what is the real crisis...and to my other point I hear people talking about solutions to police injustice and one of them is community policing so I again who would be willing to community police in dangerous neighborhoods day and in day out because that's would it would take

I'm hearing reports that Mr. Sterling did not have a gun, which I suspected in the first place. There probably wasn't a phone call. Cops rolled up on some bullshyt and this man lost his life for it.

That's fine but I'm sure the number of blacks shot by other blacks in 7 years is 3 times that number and the young man killed by the police is 1 incident in a year compared to 280...I'm not saying police injustice doesn't exist but we can't ignore the fact the bigger problem is what's going on in our community everyday and come on with the compassionate nonsense there are plenty of blacks and people of other races that don't have an ounce of compassion. And yes there are people in communties trying to fight crime but the people up in arms about all these police killing need to be doing the same when someone in there own community is killed for no reason which happens more often then the police killings do that's my point especially when I hear people say we are in a state of emergency like random police murders are the only reason that we are

I don't know what people don't get about this. Life is real. All the protests and all of the screaming and yelling and arguments and begging people to stop shooting you doesn't mean shyt when you're on the ground with a gun to one of your vital organs. These cops are not playing... They will kill you and then ask questions later. For real. You need to think through your actions.
