In the video it looks like Alton is trying to get the cops off and possibly reach for the gun in his pocket.
I'm not sure what video your watching, but in the video dude is clearly trying to push the cops off him, which will always lead a bad situation.
If you think a cop might be racist and said cop has a gun, why do anything to provoke that cop?
Why not just stay calm let the cop give you your ticket or arrest then file a grievance in court andmoney some money?
Dude shouldn't of been shot, but this situation was avoidable as it is in almost all of these cases.

I made it a point to not watch anymore of these videos after seeing Eric Garner's murder on a loop for weeks in the news.
Fear is the mind killer and watching these videos as a Black man is more spirit crushing than it is inspirational, at least for me personally.
This is an issue in the white community and more specifically the corrupt criminal justice system. They are the ones who need to see these videos and learn empathy. Unfortunately, you can't get blood from a stone and too many of them are filled with fear which is why there is no end to this problem in site.
