I beg to differ. You know the reason the Vietnam war had so many protests and shyt in the late 60s and early 70s causing the US to have bad PR around the world? The news media showed dead bodies of GIs, little Vietnamese kids and women with blown off legs and arms.
Dead bodies, blown off faces and other shyt. So much so that the us government today spends billions of dollars to spin PR and make sure that the media does not show dead US soldier bodies and the bodies of enemy combatants.
You know what was one of the lightening rod moments of the civil rights movement was? When Emmet Till mother decided to have a open casket for her dead son to show the world how white racist were killing black people. That very photo of Emmet on ebony/jet went around the country and actually helped civil rights organizations recruit folks.
Naw man images are real and need to be shown. American Society is too desensitized to violence and death that is why they don't take this shyt serious as in the past.
It is the new York Dailey news so you know they have no intent to use this photo as a means to teach and motivate folks to take a stand on police brutality.
