You got the Disruptor upgraded all the way? If you do shoot that at the sentry and it will explode when it shoots, automatically KOing the guards around it.

I figured it out..

some of those checkpoints and Riddler trophies are straight suicide missions if you don't remote control use the car

I had to drive the car to a nearby higher level street to shoot all of the sentries down
