The Distance Run Per Game in Various Sports

Basketball: 2.55 miles

Cutting-edge tracking technology has allowed coaches and statisticians to track NBA player performance in real time, including the distance traveled per game. (Our average is a rough estimate of the top 10 players in distance per game during the 2016 NBA season.) According to the site NBAMiner.com, which tracks advanced player statistics, running the most during the 2016 season was Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls at 2.74 miles per game.

Soccer: 7 miles

A large field, a fast moving ball, and rare substitutions mean soccer players can expect to log some heavy mileage over 90-plus minutes. Midfielders tend to run the most, sometimes reaching nearly 9.5 miles

right

skill alone can make you elite in football

in basketball you gotta be born with certain traits & then develop elite skills on top of that to be elite

What elite skills did HOFer Yao Ming posses? :troll:

some of the players that log the most miles walk the majority of those

it's two different types of conditioning

hooper's are moving with more explosive high intensity

footballers are running a marathon with some punctuations of sprinting

dog don't gas it like they doing full pitch sprints for 90 minutes

some players don't run period jahahahahaa

Akeem Olajuwon played only soccer up until his late teen when he started playing BBall and ended up becoming one of the greatest NBA players. That can never happen with a BBall player.
hakeem played soccer but he was not a soccer player

that line you're trying to draw does not connect jahahahahaa

Breh come on...
You've seen counterattacks right?

I know basketball takes a great amount of conditioning but lets not pretend soccer doesn't

where did i say it didn't¿

i said it's different

counterattacks don't break out constantly

like i said it's a lot of walking & jogging punctuated by sprints

where as in basketball it's more constant explosive sequences

get it¿
