hispanic culture in american cities LEGALLY predates anyone who arrived on Elise Island, and in some cases there are those who can trace that LEGAL lineage back to the revolution; particularly when you're talking about the southwest.
Contrary to what you may think hispanic roots run deep in america and it's culture, they are one in the same. Mariachi music is just country music sung in spanish. For someone who is normally a reasonably intelligent person you sure do go full retard with this subject sometimes.
I think people have a problem with dude repping his mexican identity while singing the national anthem. I mean, nothing wrong with repping your identity, but if you're gonna sing the anthem in front of millions of americans then you need to tone that down.

Not too mention that mariachi music is a huge part of San Antonio. On the River Walk and downtown there's mariachi bands out there playing and singing. People just ignorant
Its huge in the southwest period. Most of those cities still carry a lot of influence. I never realized how big of a deal it was until I got with my girl(shes Mexican).
Its not like this kid was singing the Mexican national anthem at a game. Wearing a Mexican flag around his neck etc etc. He's an American singing our National Anthem while still representing his heritage.
