Yeah for people in the States we like build up and action packed sports. Baseball, Football, and Basketball all do that and it's the reason there the most popular and its the reason Hockey and Soccer arent. By the was i'm a big Hockey fan but i realize its faults and why its the least popular of the 4 big sports.

This ain't beer league softball fam

And this thread is lame as fukk.

No time limit means you can't run out the clock. No matter the score, you ALWAYS have a chance until the 27th out.

Baseball >>

If you don't like it, don't watch :manny:
Thank you only a non baseball would say that one run game in the ninth in baseball is must see tv .
The change they could make is the pitchers like Beckett who take forever between pitches though well actually enforce the rule thats there.he's annoying I remember one yank/redsox game they were timing him he takes forever

Yeah the British Empire.

And yet, it's not even close to being the most popular sport in these former important British controlled areas:

India
United States of America
Canada
Australia
New Zealand
Ireland

being an american I personally never understood our love for "action-packed"/"excitement" in sports.

when I watch sports, its for sports and battle between two sides, not for 'excitement'. its not a fukking porn movie...

so to me, Ill say that Ill watch my Giants any time, and A's most of the time, but a random soccer game > random baseball game for me unless I have money invested in a game somewhere.

No way people who watch baseball can say soccer is boring and vice versa

why not ? theyre as dissimilar as any two sports out there.

one is pure dynamics for 2x45 minutes. the other is mostly static until the ball is hit or runners are put on base.

Cases can be made both ways

Soccer:
Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, foul, free kick into row Z
Pass, pass, pass, long ball, offside, repeat

Baseball:
Pitch, *waits one good minute* pitch again, foul, foul, foul, *eventually goes to 3-2 count*, foul, foul, hit
Repeat

I like both sports and I know what I'm in for when I'm watching them but to me it's like pot calling the kettle black

but again, thats your subjective view. big fans of either sport might have a different definition of what 'boring' and 'exciting' is.
