The change I wouldn't mind seeing is that if a road team is up after 8, the home team should bat first in the 9th. It would never happen but it would shave quite a bit of time off games.

Gotta think about this....

this is a change I want implemented as well

they should cut it down to 60 games from the 160 or however much they play now

60 games (home and away against every team) and that's it

So they should just play one game every 3-4 days or so? Wouldn't it be easier to let them play more and just tune in anytime you feel like it? Baseball plays more games but the calendar length of their season is no longer than any other sports.

WHAT THE fukk?
Not a misprint brethren. I fukking hate extra innings! I enjoy baseball immensely.. but maybe outside a playoff game, if they're going past the 10th/11th inning I'm changing the channel straight up

I love baseball. No doubt, the pace can be boring as hell sometimes, but that's all part of watching. nikkas with ADD aint built to watch baseball. Patience is a virtue. Nothing worse than turning from the game for a minute or two and missing a fukking home run and you gotta watch the replays :sadcam:

So a person has ADD if a game is in 15th inning clocking at 4 and a half hours? really:usure:

^:what:Not sure I follow. What I'm trying to say is, that baseball is not suited for people with shorter attention spans because of the slow pace. As far as a 15 inning game, who the hell wouldn't get tired of that shyt?

You know how long it takes for hitters and pitchers to actually get into a groove? 60 games ain't shyt.

I dont understand why people are always trying to change sports, the people who love it will hate the changes and it will alienate the fanbase and the people that they had in mind with the change wont start watching because of the change anyway. This is one the NHLs biggest problems.

Things should stay the same but at the same time people argue that there's a change in the times we live in. Back in the days the only thing baseball competed with was boxing. Now it has to compete with the other sports leagues, movies, xbox/playstation, the internet, 100+ cable channels, busier work schedules, etc.. plus the fact that we have HD televisions and in some cases its cheaper and better to watch a game at home.

-that's where this talk always comes from
