I always wonder how many people in nothin happening ass towns are hiding in plain sight from their terrible past or histories. Road trips especially...the random people you meet in passing...how many of them have mad felonies or are on the run or wanted...

I mean, how easy would it be to become a random drone employee at a diner or farmhand in Montana or wyoming or the dakotas, or work for a moving company in Cincinatti while being on the run from New Mexico...and imagine all that before the internet and interstate communication was official.

this a big fukkin country and shyt like that weirds me out

Been that way since the pilgrims.

Statistically speaking - there has to have been at least a few psychopaths on The Mayflower who made London too hot for themselves, put on the baseball outfit and the big hat, said a couple of prayers and decided to get ghost before the bobbies pulled up :manny:

Breh, the mayflower, nina, pinta, and santa maria were full of people who were Spain and England's rejects, religious zealots who thought that their countries were too radical and claimed to be persecuted 'puritans'...people who were comfortable with a relative suicide mission to a place they barely knew existed. Nothing was normal about them :heh:

the United states is full of the world's rejects, from day 1. Cuba sending their prisoners and leftovers to Florida. People from Mexico who can't make it work there and try to come here. Italians and irish who lost regional battles and were social rejects, and quickly became underworld criminals. Africans who were sold or kidnapped into slavery, to serve the those groups of rejects.

And as a country we knew and know it. The WORLD does. Look at what Emma Lazarus, a new york jewish woman wrote for the statue of liberty:

With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Literally identifying the fact that America is FOR the world's rejects in its infancy.

Nobody is 'better or worse' than anyone else, nor am I saying that to shyt on america or prop up euro asia or africa, but we have a real cognitive dissoance over what the last 600 years have been about here...

Yes. Are you paying attention to any element of this show?

Barry's not "content." Does standing outside all night with a gun in his hand seem "content?" He's just controlling everything. And Sally has every reason to be miserable. Her life went completely below expectations and she's settled for miserable isolation with a psycho because he's the only one that shows her affection.

He was a contract killer from cleveland then he went on to be a killer in hollywood trying to act and then he ended up in jail. Now he got a family and a house. Yes, this is the most content we have seen him.

The white broad has had her own show, and was even offered a good deal to be a mentor for a big movie franchise..she then left with him instead :mindblown:

I mean this broad has been miserable since season 1. She also jealous that her ex-assistant is doing it big now.....and i don't buy all of this comes from "Barry being the only person that shows her affection".

“I saw [Gilligan] and the writers at a thing and said, ‘Man, I really feel like I owe you a check.’ And especially for season one. There was a joke that people were calling [Barry] Breaking Good,” Hader says. “On a personal level, I visited the Better Call Saul writers’ room way early just to be like, ‘How do you guys do this?’ And so I just watched them hang out for a day. I also hung out with Vince off and on for a couple weeks, and we got along really well. I never watched a lot of television, but I did watch Breaking Bad pretty religiously. So, I was a little self-conscious about [the Breaking Bad comparisons], but I also think that as the show has progressed, it’s become its own thing.”

I really hope we get to revisit everything that led up to their current life. So many questions
