Nah she didn't. She got a crazy ass offer as an acting coach, 70k a week that would've kept her in Hollywood exposed to a lot of major players and she decided to run off with a psycho.

Edit: 70k a movie, and it was regular acting roles. I think she went with Barry because she couldn’t handle be such a low level actor. Especially with how the dude pitched it to her.
