Then you need to sit down and not discuss Atlanta rap. You're in here posting about the Atlanta rap scene, but then say you don't care. You don't know what you're talking about. The real intent with that post was to discredit and downplay Outkast as usual. Got cha.

To still try to talk about who made the Atlanta rap scene pop off nationally AFTER claiming you are no expert on Atlanta rap means you shouldn't even be having this discussion.

:dwillhuh:

you have serious comprehension issues.

you need help bro.

As usual, the good ol' escape when you don't have a rebuttal and are clearly in over your head. And while you're at it, take your own advice. I don't have a split personality disorder to have two separate accounts to express the opinions of which ever personality has taken over at the moment.

I don't have a split personality disorder severe enough to have two separate accounts to express the opinions of which ever personality has taken over at the moment.

:what:

I cant have a rebuttal when the person im debating with, doesn't comprehend the topic and doesn't understand a word that im saying.

and now youre getting upset about it, and trying to hurl insults while making an even bigger fool out of yourself.
I have two screen names and its no secret. im not the first or last to do it. and its not like I have an alias or pretending to be somebody else.

smarten up.

LOL. I wasn't the originator of the insults. And again, take your own advice.

what I was saying wasn't an insult.
I understand why you were offended, but its just real talk. and I cut to the chase with it instead of beating around the bush. no need to waste time when we already know how this dance is gonna end.
this is like thread #49392 where we come to the same exact roadblock with you, regardless of the topic or rappers involved.

im gonna play nice and say this one last time:
you don't have to be an expert on atlanta rap to realize when their rap scene began to flourish on a NATIONAL LEVEL and who caused the explosion and who didn't.
nor am I discussing atlanta hip-hop.

now if you can respond accordingly to what I said before you drove off the road, then we can continue on.
but if you keep arguing with me about some chit that im not even talking about because you have poor comprehension skills, or if you keep arguing me down about some chit that another poster said(and you still havnt responded to that guy. LOL. youre pretty weird.) then theres no point in continuing this "discussion."

There's far more to Styles that "goonery" and "political" stuff:

^^^ this isn't relatable beyond goonery and political stuff?

^^^ I pose the same question with this verse.

What makes Jay and Nas funny type? And you're really going to say the main gripe against Jay is him being soul-less and he made Blueprint.

yea, the cruddy chit. everybody aint sleeping on the floor next to the dog.
and the more general stuff in those verses, if jada & sheek are on the track, they will give you similar lines.

you don't understand the soul-less comment.
by soul-less im not talking about soul samples. im saying jay is an empty, dense dude.

by funny, im saying jay & nas are just funny people. like sometimesy and low-key grimey in a sneak-ish way.
that's not to say that the other rappers mentioned aren't like that off-wax either. I wouldn't know because those unlikeable vibes don't show up in their music like jay and to a lesser-extent, Nas.

so I was checking out this DJ Delz Jadakiss Jacking for Beats mixtape and that nikka is :whew:

I'm a underground backpacker type nikka but I always fukked with Jada pretty tough :smugbiden:

The Champ is Here 3 was :wow:

this post was inspired by what Sway said at the beginning of this interview

3 Stacks is nice, but I really fail to see why he always comes up in GOAT conversations. been listening to Outkast since I was 12 years old and he never really made me say "oh shyt, that nikka said what?" and rewind it.

chalk it up to being a more narrative style of rhyming than what Jada does, but I prefer Jada
different strokes for different for different folks I guess :yeshrug:

Sway said it best "My first thing is style, if you've innovated your own...there's nobody that sounds like Kiss, and Kiss sounds like nobody else. Lyrical content, how original is a person with the similes, metaphors, and even painting a picture in terms of comprehension."

do Kiss' albums underwhelm? Yup, but at least he actually has solo albums(I don't count that singing ass shyt The Love Below)

and more importantly his mixtapes are :blessed:

I don't personally think Jada is top 5 but in terms of pure rapping ability he's top 10 or 15, same with 3stacks

which one do y'all think is better tho :jbhmm:

completely different artists.. jadakiss is creative he says bars that are witty in the moment.. to catch some of 3 stacks you REALLY have to catch it.. completely different sounds and styles..

Breh, you were hurling insults. You're not offending anyone. That's child's play.

There are no road blocks. You make a claim. I dispute your claim. You don't have anything substantial to respond with so you resort to the usual, "you're autistic", "you weren't around" and continue to pout because I'm not buying what you're selling.

This is your statement, verbatim:

hey stupid. I didn't bring up JD. the other guy did. go argue with him over outkast/Jermaine dupri. not me. get this chit out my face.

and I never claimed to be an expert on atlanta rap, and im certainly not discussing it, and don't care to.
im talking about who made the atlanta rap SCENE pop off NATIONALLY. all this other stuff youre trying to argue about, is neither here nor there.

few people cared about Atlanta's rap SCENE before crunk music. of course you cared, because youre from Georgia. you don't seem to understand the difference tho.

and sure, the crunk albums didn't really have the juice, but the singles did, and that's what got the ball rolling until the trappy stuff came in and solidified things.

^^^ that's you hurling an insult. That's you saying you're not discussing Atlanta rap and not caring to discuss it, yet you want to claim Outkast had nothing to with Atlanta's rise. Blabbering about what juice the singles had and the albums didn't like you actually know what you're talking about when you're continuing to contradict yourself.

I do understand the soul-less statement. You just don't know what you're talking about. Blueprint is Jay at his most soulful. I ain't referring to the soul samples, I'm referring to it being Jay at his most revealing. This is Jay actually being vulnerable.

Point being Jada and Sheek aren't on those Styles tracks for a reason.

Breh, you're in here talking about what type of people Jay and Nas are, I'm talking about the relatablility of the words in the songs.

1.) but I do know what im talking about. im talking about the music that made the atlanta rap scene relevant on a national scale.
youre trying to argue with me about some local underground chit. yea, i dont know mc shy d from kilo ali. and i dont give a f*ck. that's what you keep following me around about.
and before that, you were trying to argue with me over something somebody else said, and you still have yet to address them.

2.) youre confusing soulful with soft.
lol @ "vulnerable". yall have a way of making this chit sound so sweet.:scust:

3.) and jada is more relatable than styles for a reason.
I PERSONALLY, relate more to styles, by the way.

4.) all of that accounts for the way people either relate or don't relate to you.

why do yall always try to make this into a regional thing?

I lived down south, and generally most people didn't even really check for outkast after the '90s, let alone those one-off ande 3000 guest appearances.

and even then, they weren't on them like THAT. like dudes be carrying on about them on the net.

Andre's "One.. Two.. Three" intro on Hey Ya! is more quotable than Jadakiss' whole career

Hey Ya, for me, is the best single released in the 2000s. It's not even far fetched. It's one of the most expertly crafted pop singles of all-time, and solidified Andre as the Prince of his time.

Hey Ya means nothing in this thread.
