the reason nikkaz don’t like Jadakiss is because they can’t relate to the lifestyle & it’s ironic because Jadakiss is one of the first New York spittas to embrace the southern sound & southern rappers, Like New York nikkaz wasn’t getting money down south in The Carolinas & other spots OT, like Atlanta don’t have a Bronx Day, I love the south The Food the women the hospitality & Culture its the off brand “eccentric” weirdo nikkaz that always got NY dikk in they mouth tryna cause division, Like NY never embraced and loved Scarface, like Houston Screw ain’t influence ASAP Rocky, Like Jeezy & BMF ain’t link up with fabolous & streetfam, Kodak Black, Moneyybagg Yo, 21 Savage, Migos, lil baby, all get burn & love in NY it’s the weirdo shyt nikkaz ain’t jacking

I didn't wanna take it there bro but you're 100% right. A good portion of the Coli is a bunch of suburban millennial's that can't relate to rappers like Jada. They gravitate toward weirdos like Andre

What is there to relate to about Jada's music? Ya'll act like Jada is out here making introspective songs from a hood perspective. That isn't Jada. And even his attempts at it aren't that great. You'd be better off comparing Styles P to Andre 3000 than Jada. Nothing about Andre 3000's bars scream suburban millennials.

Or maybe Jada just ain't all that. Act like people down South don't relate to Nas or Jay or even Fabolous and Styles P. Jadakiss doesn't really do anything that begs for him to relatable in the first place. Listening to the rappers I mentioned, one song and you're instantly transported into NYC or they are speaking on something you've experienced or somebody you know experienced or it's like having a convo with a homie or relative. I don't get that from Jada.

I don't know why nikkas keep using millennials as an insult to taste in hip-hop like the Millennial generation doesn't start in 84 :heh:

Or like hood rappers don't have "suburban" fans and vice-versa.

You shouldn't even be speaking on anything Hip Hop or even music related after saying Kast had nothing to do with the rise of Atlanta.

they didn't. the crunk & trap movements sparked Atlanta's rise in rap music.

but don't try to change the subject. lets get back to you exposing yourself. youre the real person that shouldn't be speaking on hip-hop.

Trap and Crunk didn't spark Atlanta's rise in Hip Hop. Atlanta was already established. Crunk and Trap marked Atlanta's dominance. Kast and The Dungeon Family positioned Atlants to be in that position because before them Atlanta was booty shake music. Bangladesh is on record saying Kast is the reason he moved to Atlanta. JD attests to Kast putting Atlanta on the map as far as Hip Hop is concerned. Nearly every crunk album that came out of Atlanta features one or more members of the Dungeon Family. Even "Never Scared" features Killer Mike.

In terms of Jada, there isn't much relatable about Jada. He's mostly spitting slick rhymes about how good he is. Outside of that, it's cliche money, cars, and clothes with some drug references thrown in. You're not walking away from a Jada verse or song feeling like "I've been through that" or "I know someone whose been through that" or "wow, I feel like that sometimes" or "he just described my life" or "I know someone who lives like that". Much of Jada's raps are drenched in hyperbole and that's what makes them dope.

Thank you for this. See too much idiotic shyt on this forum nowadays. Dungeon Family established not only a sound, but a culture of musicians in Atlanta that - yes - helped solidified the Dirty South sound as a lasting influence in the industry.
