I do think that some men like to have the financial power and being able to dangle the carrot. I suppose paying for sex is different when you are a millionaire as that can give you power. It's becoming more and more obvious that the people who take issue with other men paying for sex instead of spending time convincing women to have sex with them, don't have the option to pay women for sex.

We saw the same phenomenon with plastic surgery and Black women. Most men who are in decent shape and aren't socially stunted can find women to have sex with. The size of that pool is usually scoped to their own attractiveness foremost followed factors like status and status symbols.
