Man shut up. Randle plays against the goddamn bench players in the league. He's having a good season because of his role and because of how he's being utilized yet you keep wanting to give him a far bigger role, which again he had for the last 2 season, where he's far less effective.

We saw what happened when he tried defending Embiid 1 on 1. It literally lost us the game and I blame that on Walton, not Randle, as Randle had no business being out there on him alone because Randle is not some defensive god, he's a good defender in the right situations against the right lineups.

The Truth
I got no idea how or why he's failing to properly utilize Lopez. give him more post touches too, there's nothing wrong with not always playing fast and having a reliable go to play in the post when everything is not falling/working. We often get in droughts, putting him in the post and letting him work could help us get out of those droughts, but instead he's just way out of the play.
They pretty much force feed him in the post all the time. Especially in droughts

He was just off again tonight...

Just think what the % would be if you threw out the Embiid game.

#LWO
So the suspicion some LWO brehs had about Magic trading D'angelo were true :ohhh:. Dlo had a work ethic problem.

Dennis Scott: It look like they [Lakers] working tho huh
Brian Shaw: You know last year we had D'angelo bullshytting all the time

even if this is the case. D Lo was 20 at the time. i'd still take 6-7 years of Russell over 1 year of lopez. this doesnt excuse them imo

men lie, women lie. numbers dont.

yawn. you dudes have a HUGE problem admitting when youre just wrong. Even if it means you go against the better of the team. this is just getting corny at this point. just give dude his credit. He's having a good season because he got better...period. He isnt the same player he was the last 2 seasons anybody with eyes and half a brain can see that. He has played 32 and 28 minutes the last two games and has made a huge impact so stop the "its the role!! narrative. He simply got better. Using the Embiid performance to discredit dude is as corny and desperate as it gets.

Damn good find.

Also Luke damn near lost that game last night. Left Randle and a few others out there too long after they went on that run. You could see the players out there were tired after all the running. Sure enough Chicago goes on a run and pushes the lead back up.

I HATE the way Randle plays but he seems to have found his niche. I still don't want him starting but he's perfect being a primary creator off the bench. I think he's mostly the same player he's always been with the decision making but he's more consistently giving effort this year and finishing way better than the past. He's converted me to being a fan of his after hating on him in the past.

Anyone with half a brain can understand why he's having a better season and it isn't because he's gotten 10x better, but rather how he's being used. He's being used properly and you won't to use him improperly and fukk our whole team up for your single minded agenda.

Using Embiid performance is corny? Did you even watch the game? They just attacked Randle over and over not because Embiid was having a great game, but because it was laughably obvious how Randle cannot guard him at all. Last 2 games were against the Bulls and the shorthanded Nuggets, but fukk it lets ignore context. Lopez didn't even have a poor game and that's Randle's only future, as a 5, unless you're dumb enough to want Randle starting over Kuzma.

There's something fundamentally wrong with you when you can't grasp the fact that he's being utilized properly now and we're doing well because of it and you want to put him in a role he's done fukking awful at. Don't think anyone forgot that all you did last year even as he continued to play piss poor was defend him because he put up empty numbers in blowout games.

That's the fukking problem though. I appreciate how Randle has played and think he's doing well, this dumb fukk wants him to completely change how he's being utilized because he's doing well and instead give him a role he's sucked at. On top of that, instead of crediting Walton for utilizing properly, he instead bashes Walton for not playing him enough. That shyt is :camby: worthy.

So brehs...Julius Randle - is he just raising his value as trade bait? Or do we need to reinsert him in to our young core (Zo, Kuz, B.I.) and figure out a way to keep him next offseason?

I admit he has been playing mostly very well since preseason. I’m wondering if the Lakers are giving up on him too soon...He probably will never be a star, but he’s been a very valuable player so far this season.
