Two Rapides Parish Sheriff's deputies were arrested and then fired Thursday after alleged sexual misconduct and bringing contraband into the jail, while two other unidentified deputies were fired, according to a release.

Deputies John William Benjamin, 56, and Donald Emeche Weston, 51, were charged after an investigation into a complaint made by an inmate.

Benjamin was charged with malfeasance in office-sexual conduct prohibited and introducing contraband into a correctional institution. Weston was charged with malfeasance in office-sexual conduct.
