Not necessarily a bad thing for all parties involved considering that the grandparents would end up supporting the grandchildren on top of the children as well in some cases.

If mom and dad say no, then who do you think the grandchildren are going to ask for help even if you know they don’t got it?

I get it, to a degree.

Before we had ours, it used to drive me crazy getting this message repeatedly from my own mother - that she was waiting for her grandchildren. In essence, being a grandparent would give her something to live for, especially when she herself felt she had nothing.

I've seen what happens when parents completely lose themselves in that role and always figure they may look forward to an empty nest, as there is an opportunity to get back to themselves and explore their own interests and dreams before grandkids even enter the picture. This is especially true after they retire from working.

I rarely see this happen though.

Not sure how white supremacists/certain FBA extremists will cope with the economic/demographic need to increase immigration in the next 10-20 years.

I can only hope more Africans are allowed to come to America.

You already know that ain't about to happen.
You're better off moving to Africa.

Theres something interesting about this phenomenon

Becuase i can understand not having kids. Theres many many reasonable arguments against it.

But those reasons have existed for centuries.

Why has the culture shifted even with more means available for most of us.

Welcome to inflation, but it was partially caused by women in the workforce, less people less demand which might lead to lower inflation.

An unmarried Candaian dude I know moved to Canada so I guess they'll expect immigration will solve the issue.
I meant a Colombian dude and his girl moved to Canada.
