Your Great Grandparents want to ensure there genes are perpetuated into the future.

If they were so concerned about their bloodline they should have had more then two kids.

My Grandfather was able to provide a good life on one salary and have a stay at home wife. He paid $32000 for a brand new 4 bedroom brick house on one acre in 1970. Even when you accout for inflation you can't do that anymore.
