I think fans are too deep in the weeds counting coins. The pacers aren’t even gonna feel that money. It’s not like the 90s w/ 7 year deal. It’s only 4 years. Haliburton on a rookie deal, mathurin on a rookie deal, Duarte rookie deal.Seems like a pricetag a little to high for a guy like Ayton …you pay your offensive hub that kind of money …can he even be that?
Owners and GMs on that policy and this is only the beginning.Imagine not signing your number 1 pick
Just dumb... Suns acting like it's 2005 still.. the price is the price god damn..
If bum simmons got a max.. why doesn't Ayton deserve one?
If Rudy gobert is worth all that money.. why can't Ayton be worth that kinda money?
I get the thinking by Indiana. They're not winning any time soon. They don't usually attract FAs. Ayton is very young and fits their timeline. He's still really productive in the regular season. Why not take a swing?
What are they going to do with Myles Turner now? What can Phoenix even offer besides Mikal Bridges and fillers now to the Nets

Going to be much harder to trade a Center making 30 million
Ehh, I don't think Ayton has any love for Phoenix... he just wants his bag. It's clear that Monty and CP3 don't fukk with him so he might not be all that opposed to leaving once he gets his big payday.Ayton has veto over any trade for a full year. He could fukk them over effortlessly
The crazy thing is if the Suns sign the dude and he doesn't want to play there, but they can't get a good trade for him either then it may really be best to let the dude walk.
If you keep him on the roster they may remain in the weird spot they're in: a play-off team that ain't beating the best teams.
Sometimes it's best to reset early that way you can get players who really want to be there.
Giannis would've shyt on Gobert he's shyt on the Jazz multiple times beforeSimmons is a better player than Ayton. Gobert is better than Ayton. You put him on that 2021 team and they beat Milwaukee because Giannis wouldn't have his way with him like he did Ayton.
They simply gonna have to take it on the chin. They ain't getting it done with that roster and fall into the trap of mediocrity, which is the worst.Suns let him walk, please tell me where are you getting a big man that avgs 15-20 and 10 boards a game on the market? they would have to trade bridges or johnson to even get back a starting center
