It's top 4 protected. So if season is going bad and we nuclear tank we can still possibly get the pick.
I can see it happening. Both guys have been riddled with injury in their short time in the league.
The advanced stats favor Pat in this comparison, but it's still hard to say if he's going to be a solid starter for THIS team right now. This conversation is probably completely different if the Bulls didn't make those splash moves after his rookie season.
It's documented that I think he's garbage.
I'm not saying this from a hating standpoint but he won't touch 95 million on his rfa contract.
De'Andre Hunter played less games than Pat through his first 2 seasons. I'm sure there were Hawks fans who weren't sold on him going into year 3 also. Just looking at the numbers for both guys after 2 seasons, the comparison is fair.
Pat has to earn it this year tho, NO, right now it's a hard sell. Of course, but if he has a solid season and maintains his numbers, his agent should be looking to get something around that since Hunter had similar question marks at this point in his career.
