Make Em Say Ughh ... Silk da Shocker
Did this man ask if Juvenike was with Birdman??
yea, people get mad on here when i point out that outkast inherited that PM Dawn/arrested development fanbase. that and the laface machine are the reasons why they were able to go platinum back in the day. i know some tears were shed on some coli keyboards when i pointed out that LA Reid himself said that he signed outkast because they reminded him of arrested development.
and yea, lol @ c-murder not being a star. older people who dont even follow rap know about c-murder.
It's because he said SOLD WORLDWIDE. Like i think the Massacre sold 5m in the USA but it sold 10m worldwide..
Yeah I forgot about Serv and Bleed (on the Mac/Magic status)
100 million
100 albums would mean that each pushed 1 million (Did NL drop 100 albums) from 96-2000? P was yelling he hit 75-100 million sold in the 2000s
A breh stated that Wiki numbers are World-wide
So did Mia X only sell 1 million records? or did she sell more?
Did Steady Mobbin only sell 500k records combined from their 2 albums or did they sell more?
I'm trying to understand how P is yelling 100 million records sold but, He, Snoop, Mystikal, Silkk, Romeo are the stars. Them 5 would have to had 70% of the sales of NL sales to even get to 70 million records being sold
JT explains how it worked in this video
So Worldwide, the breh that posted those stats from Wiki a few pages back that has the numbers of each album sold were world wide numbers?
So a Steady Mobbin could have sold 800k on their first album?
100 million records World-wide, That means other C-D lister artists had to sell correct or wrong?

It does not matter whether you cared about the Southern scene until No Limit. That is completely irrelevant and no he is not credited as such. Nah, breh you need not speak kn things you know nothing about. You can't talk about Southern Hip Hop and act like you are an authority on it.
Breh, there are no similarities between PMDawn, Arrested Development and OutKast period. This thread isn't even about them anyway. Outkast was only mentioned and here you are bringing up the same old tired argument that you have been harping on for years.
A rap act appearing on a Soul Food soundtrack, a TLC album or a La Face Christmas compilation doesn't do anything. I mean Puff had a song on the same soundtrack and it also appears on No Way Out, but that song hardly made any noise and Puff was on fire at the time.
Breh, there is no way to prove where the bulk of Kast's sales came from. Kast did not get booed because of some bogus notion that they were not Hip Hop enough. That's ludicrous. Your whole crusade against them is two reasons:
1) They beat out Bone for that award at the same Source awards you're mentioning
2) They are held in much higher regard than No Limit
For those two reasons, you try to rewrite history and discredit them and big up Bone and No Limit whom you stan.
My point with that is the Soul Food soundtrack was mainly an R&B affair with a couple of rap songs tacked on. Still, Ghetto D sold about the same if not more than that soundtrack and featured the entire roster with all of them having ads in the album.
In regard to soundtracks, P and Silkk were also on the Scream 2 soundtrack.
I see this thread got the No limit stans mad as fukk

i just hate when people say stupid chit and revise history.
keep it movin tho. youre not qualified to converse with me.
That 100 million does not only include album sales. It includes includes singles as well. It also includes numbers pre-1996.
Steady Mobb'n, I think, but not sure has a gold plaque for "If I Could Change".
I dunno who told you Wiki is world wide but that's false. When it's world wide, it specifically says that:
Doggystyle - Wikipedia
See how it lists Europe and New Zealand?
Now look at Mia X:
Mama Drama (album) - Wikipedia
It says her 3rd album is certified 2x plat and did 2.8 mill total. Which is bullshyt. RIAA only has 1 gold plaque for her entire career, off her first album.
Let's get crazy and say she did 2.8 mill world wide. That still makes no sense because RIAA is only for America.
Which is the problem with Master P saying he sold 100 mill world wide. There is no global entity that tracks world wide sales. Which is why nobody has called him out....you can't prove, or disprove it.
Now....am I saying it's impossible he sold 100 mill world wide? No.....but No Limit would have to be some of the biggest pop stars in history to do that:
List of best-selling music artists - Wikipedia
Britney Spears....Backstreet Boys....Janet Jackson....No Limit?
shyt don't even make any sense breh.
Fred.
Does the RIAA back in 1996-1998 counted CDs/tapes that were sold from the Mom and Pop stores around the country in every hood?? Or do they just tally up their sales, from Circuit City, TowerRecords, Best Buy, etc??
As you stated, No Limit artists got made exposure correct?
"If I Could Change" was a video and was on radio play heavy, and it sold GOLD, the single alone, Steady Mobbin was on other NL acts, before then, so they were so called "exposed" to fans, going by what you stated about NL GOAT promo
Why don't you think Steady Mobbin didn't sell close to 800k? That album in 1997, when it came out, peaked at what position?
You don't think Steady Mobbin pushed units?

Why would P continue to say he sold 100 million records sold, where is he getting this number for and why 100 and not 50 or 200, the man has to know his business right or nah??
Master P - The Ghetto Trying to Kill album sold how many records???
