This is not true.
Part of the problem is that there seem to be several definitions of blackness based on different environments and people instead of one unified definition. If you dont fit the mole you are shunned.
There's too much black pride that causes us to overlook the issues in our community and just assume off pride alone that we dont have these issues.

Exactly. And let’s say he really didn’t invest a dime in her business....she still benefited from being known as Steph’s wife. Nobody was checking for her on a grand scale before the marriage.
