This is the same company that stopped Hickman from having pure classic runs on Secret Warriors and Fantastic Four/FF by telling him to finish them up. Even if that issue was as best as he could've handled it, I'm still disgusted we only got a single issue to tie up all the build-up of Doom during that FF run.

After Secret invasion and fear itself I stopped getting invested in events. Even siege wasn't that good. House of M was the only one with a satisfying ending and that was years ago

Wolverine clawing his way out that beast was my moment. I was confused when they hyped up xavier's death in avengers vs x-men when he just "died" in messiah complex. I don't remember messiah war.

Remender botched it up..the retcon will be a sore spot for good. That's gonna get bad at conventions and will always be opening for a shot at creative and editorial. 32 year retcons do that kind of thing. Still...the X-Men following Apocalypse, the NON INVERTED X-Men following Apocalypse I should say makes NO fukkING SENSE. AT ALL. It's not possible. It would never, ever, ever happen. Kitty Pryde would fight until her dying breath before she ever do what the X-Men are doing right now.

This whole Xavier being Red Skull thing is ridiculous as well. Why is Red Skull more formidable than Xavier was with his own power set? NO. NO. NO. Doesn't work.

Nah...Marvel and marketing deserves it. It was smart. Add on Spider Man and Wolverine and turn the X Men into the more boring and predictable Cyclops show. Ever since they did the focus on him, the franchise has never been the same. Cyclops acting like a more noble version of Exodus doesn't ride. And it damn sure wasn't gonna sell. Even though Gillen did get them back to #1 during his run and kicked Bendis out of the top spot towards the last reboot.

Avengers events are ass. But now that they've lumped Avengers and X-men together, X-Men events are ass. Schism was WAY better than any of this shyt.

I can't remember how schism was resolved, but cyke and logan fighting with the sentinel above them was real shyt. I can't remember what was said but one of the two hit the other with some ether that jumped the fight off. Something about what jean grey would say if she could see them now
Astonishing X-men one of my last favorite x-arc. Whedon wrote his ass off on that shyt and it ended right. That's the single reason I knew he was gonna knock avengers outta the park, and even with that he was thrown in the mix at the last minute. With AOU coming up he's had more time to write so shyt's gonna be classic.
