Isometric RPG's with fantastic artstyles + real time with pause never go out of style. This s*** looks like The Outer World's inbred cousin. The success of the first Pillars and games like Pathfinder should have made Obsidian double down even if Deadfire didn't sell well enough. They could have bounced back.

This is a good watch, and why it's hard to show these type of games at a showcase. I feel deep RPGs are very hard to show in a 5 minute time slot. I think this game is going to be good, but I am just worried about it releasing in November near the heavy hitters.

Avowed in its native resolution really showcases the ray tracing. The video is mostly lighting and resembles the lighting feature Sony showed off in the unreal tech demo except this was no tech demo, it was real time
