So I don't want to hijack this thread but I've been wanting to discuss the dissolution of their relationship slung with how they should have ran things once Avon got out. It didn't have to end the way it did.
What do you mean?
Stringer wasn't a snake but he thought he was smarter than he actually was. Even from the first episode you could tell he didn't like deangelo & was waiting on time to take him out. Deangelo snitched but didn't go on record & was gonna do his time but stringer still had him popped because he thought he could still flip.
He also made the grave mistake of trying to play omar against brother mouzone, it almost worked but it backfired. And as viewers we could tell a mile away clay davis was playing him but he couldn't see it 'till the end.
I will give him credit, avon had the power & the money to walk away from the game and go legit. He was trying to steer avon in that direction and maybe if things would've worked out with clay it could've been possible. But the way marlo took over with prop joe playing both sides sent avon into a rage. That's how their relationship went sour, he viewed stringer as being too weak for the game.
