 the gm don't take most of the blame at all . Most people can't even NAme team gms unless it's someone famous curry and Jordan didn't deserve the money they both had no history of being dominant over long periods curry had a heart problem and James had one ok playoff series.

I meant they deserve most of the blame.

And those two particular players still deserve a part of the blame, just because front office fukks up doens't mean you should'nt have some pride and at least TRY to earn that paycheck.

The GM's the one that loses his job. He does get the blame. Sometimes he gets the blame even when it wasn't his decision.

:snoop:yall sound like sum haters:yeshrug:we aint paying them nikkas

basically.....

The overwhelming majority of this shyt falls on the GM's.

There really aren't that many cases of a guy getting a monster contract then phoning it in immediately afterwards. It's usually just a case of a player having a good season and the GM either thinking that player has more upside or being afraid of losing that player to another team then grossly overpaying them. The player will often put in just as much work and play at the same level but because the contract is bigger the expectations are bigger too.

The problem is there's too many trash GM's in the NBA. A lot of these guys shouldve never been given control over an NBA franchise

Otis smith? Really?

Yeah, he loses his job and then goes right out and gets another one with another team.

And even in losing their jobs they still get paid depending on how their contract is structured.
