I like it. :ehh:

I really don't know what they were trying to do with Hulk. He was terrible in both films. Killed all excitement I had for the character.

He has another movie on the books breh, Endgame is setting up Bruce for a heel turn.

He discovered time travel and divergent timelines, figured out how to merge his personalities but he is CLEARLY repressing his anger. He's obviously not done tinkering with his machine and he won't be content with his arm without trying to fix it. His rage can't stay repressed forever and when it does resurface...it'll be in the hands of someone with a sharp intellect. The natural progression from Professor Hulk will be Maestro.

They aren't doing Maestro :mjlol::mjcry:So much wasted potential with Hulk:wow:Abomination just got removed from the damn MCU like him and Hulk couldn't have some classic Cap vs Bucky epic fights. With man of steel power:wow:

Why didn't Captain Marvel use the Infinity Gauntlet herself? I mean instead of letting Tony do it. It just felt like the plot was crafted to kill off Tony at the expense of making actual sense. I like how the writers admitted in so many words that she solved all their problems so they wrote her out of the movie.

Using the gauntlet wasn't the plan, the plan was to send the gauntlet back in time. Tony using the stones was a desperate last minute sacrifice once the last time machine was destroyed.

According to Dr. Strange (plot railroading) there was only one way to defeat Thanos. Supposedly that's what we saw happen so Tony had to do what he did.

Logically Thor, Hulk, or Captain Marvel could have done what Tony did though. I'm pretty sure CM had the gauntlet in her hands so she could have wished Thanos and his crew away and Tony wouldn't have had to die. Scarlet Witch was pretty powerful too she probably could have used it and survived.

I still think it was done for the drama over it making sense. The legacy of that movie wouldn't have been half of what it was if Tony didn't get killed off. Black Widow wasn't really moving anybody. She didn't even get an in movie funeral.

A while back in this thread, one poster was trying to make a point that the Russos were so much better than Coogler and Ryan could learn a lot from them (from the handling of Shuri to plot execution)...

... and I thought it was complete BS because all of them have their strengths and weaknesses, ppl just like to nitpick Coogler.

Fun/daring as Infinity War and End Game were, both had their share of plot conveniences and head scratchers to get everyone where the Russos needed them to be at the end.
