isn't the hulkbuster armor kind of trash in the comics.

doesn't hulk always win anyways everytime he goes up against tony in that armor?

Andy Serkis's character looks exactly like Black Panther villain Klaw:mjpls:

for people unfamiliar with Klaw

Ulysses Klaw is a fictional character, a supervillain that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is depicted as a human physicist who has been transformed into solid sound, and who wears a sonic emitter on his right wrist as a prosthetic device. He has often been shown in conflict with the Fantastic Four and the Avengers and is an enemy of the Black Panther and Ka-Zar.

Ulysses Klaw first appears in flashback in Fantastic Four #53 (Aug 1966) as a physicist working in the field of applied sonics. Designing a sound transducer to convert sound waves into physical mass, Klaw steals the metal vibranium - a substance known to exist only in certain meteoric deposits in the small African nation of Wakanda - to power his device. In doing this, Klaw comes into conflict with the Wakandan ruler/superhero T'Chaka, whom Klaw murders in cold blood. T'Chaka's adolescent son T'Challa, who followed his father to watch him combat the invaders, then attacks Klaw to avenge his father, maiming him by costing the villain his right hand as Klaw escaped.

Years later, Ulysses resurfaces with a sonic emitter/gun on his right wrist as a replacement prosthetic device for his missing hand that can create whatever objects or creatures Klaw can conceive, out of sound. He also has created a device that turns him into a being of solid sound, making him immortal in the process.[1] Klaw as a professional criminal battles T'Challa (who has now officially become the newest Black Panther) and superhero team the Fantastic Four in New York state, but is defeated.[2]

1st, there is no guarantee the shield will lead to Black Panther. Marvel has changed many storylines from the comics including Hank creating Ultron and even with what they did with the Mandarin. Until I see him on screen I'm not just going to say "They got a plan" then they need to show it which is why I said if they are going show the broken shield, they need to keep it 100.

again. stfu and let them cook. ole l. ron hubbard-ass nikka.

if u actually read avengers (as opposed to just bytching about "movie with obligatory black character") u already know black panther is playing a major role in the storyline leading up to marvel's big 2015 event. he's been a major player on the avengers side since avengers vs. x-men, when namor got a piece of the phoenix force, went to wakanda and crushed the buildings. :sadcam:

it's sound business to align the books with the flicks. easy entry points. and i guarantee the current situations with thor and cap will be resolved by the time avengers 2 hits. either that, or the current storyline that has falcon in the cap mantle will be integrated into the movie-verse (possible, since they're using the civil war storyline ending with cap's "death"). restore the status quo, get everyone talking about the characters, and oh yeah. avengers 2 bytches.

so what's it say that t'challa is being featured so prominently in the avengers books, instead of being relegated to a solo book history has shown ppl dont support? it means they're waiting for a storyline/angle that will set up his own shine down the road. same way they did with storm, young cyclops, rockett racc00n, etc etc etc. it took YEARS of guardians of the galaxy storylines (and variations of the GotG team) before they even got an A-list writer/artist, never mind a flick. are the parallels that hard to trace?

whether u think they have a plan is irrelevant. their success in world-building makes ur opinion worth less than the dirt between the cracks of my jordans. when the time is right, we'll get panther. until then, we got rhodey AND (possibly) sam ready to pop them thangs on ultron's bytch ass. how bout u go BUY some black panther books while we wait and really help drive demand for the character.

the way some of yall bytch about t'challa... ud think he was a best-seller. :sas2:
